What should I do if I grow both fruiting/flowering and non-fruiting/non-flowering plants at the same time?

In this article, we will go through some essential steps to follow when growing both types of plants at the same time.

We usually suggest growing either fruiting/flowering plants or non-fruiting/non-flowering plants at a time for a full growth cycle. This is because it is easier to manage and the plants can grow at their best. However, if you are growing a mix, do not worry - we will go through what you will need to do.

When you are growing a mixed garden, you will need to prioritize the best growth for either the fruiting/flowering plants or non-fruiting/non-flowering plants.

If you want to grow the best fruiting/flowering plants, you will need to follow the essential care tips for these plants. If you want to grow the best non-fruiting/non-flowering plants, you will need to follow the essential care tips for these plants. For both types, make sure that the regular maintenance instructions are followed. Please consult our manuals here.

Do not mix the light setup or mix the Flores and Vega nutrient sets.

Fruiting/flowering plants
For the best growth, it needs 12 hours of light a day and nutrients Aqua Flores A and Aqua Flores B. For setting up your light timer, please consult our manuals here. After the 2nd week of transplanting, you should switch the nutrients from Aqua Vega A and Aqua Vega B. Fill up the water reservoir with fresh water and add in 30mL of Aqua Flores A and 30mL of Aqua Flores B. Every 2 weeks, add 15mL of each Aqua Flores A and Aqua Flores B and top up the water reservoir.
Aside from the lights and nutrients, you will need to do pollination for the fruition to occur if it is a fruiting plant. Here is an article on how to pollinate our plants.

Non-fruiting/non-flowering
For the best growth, it needs 18 hours of light a day and nutrients Aqua Vega A and Aqua Vega B. For setting up your light timer, please consult our manuals here. Fill up the water reservoir with fresh water and add in 25mL of Aqua Vega A and 25mL of Aqua Vega B. Every 2 weeks, add 15mL of each Aqua Vega A and Aqua Vega B and top up the water reservoir.

The prioritized plants will grow at their best but do not worry, the less prioritized ones will grow, just not at their optimum.
